Since I began this project, I've been designing the different systems that go into it.
Don't laugh. I drew this in MS paint a bajillion years ago. But it's pretty good to give the overall idea of the suit.
You have a head rig, hand and arm system, stilts, and straps to keep it all together.
Fun fact, this picture comes from a Pepakura model of the Hulk that I thought about using at one point. (Search "Pepakura Hulk model" if you're feeling froggy.)

Over the years that got upgraded to this fine specimen hahahaha.
The dimensions of the stick figure are my own. It really shows gives you a sense of what it would be like to be in the suit.
Here's an early mock-up of the head rig... showing how the Hulk's head moves with the wearer's and how the Hulk's jaw would move with the wearer's.

Then there's a detail of the arm and hand.
I had thought that a ball and socket would work for the arm... even 10 years ago.
Another fun detail is how the springs over the finger digits would return fingers back to place.

Eventually I worked up to this diagram that was a much better overall understanding of how it all would work.
The parts as a list:
Looking back that's still a little messy, but I was getting there.
Can you see the costume coming into focus? Pretty neat, but a long way to go.
